About Emma
Emma began writing for The Good Schools Guide in 2023. With two children of her own and personal experience of relocating in pursuit of good schools, Emma loves researching and reviewing the plethora of top schools across Surrey and Hampshire – giving parents a genuine insight into their strengths, opportunities and challenges.
In 2026, she joined the office team as a part-time administrator supporting the consultancy side of the business and liaising with schools and writers, whilst continuing to write for the Guide in her free time.
Emma has a degree in Biology from the University of Leeds and initially specialised in medical publishing before moving into school admissions, marketing and communications. She has completed safeguarding and child protection training.
