About Emma
With two children of her own, and personal experience of relocating in pursuit of good schools, Emma is loving the role of researching and reviewing the plethora of top schools across Surrey and Hampshire – giving parents a genuine insight into their strengths, opportunities and challenges.
After gaining a degree in Biology from the University of Leeds, she initially specialised in medical publishing - 'practical science lessons are always the highlight of a school visit,' she says - before moving into school admissions, marketing and communications. Having spent a number of years implementing marketing strategies in the state sector, she is ardently supporting The Guide with its growing inclusion of the UK’s best state secondary schools. She has completed safeguarding and child protection training.
