Is the Grammar School Consultancy right for me?

If you’re fortunate enough to live in a grammar school area or are thinking of moving to one, this is the service for you. Our expert consultants can lift the lid on the dark art of winning a coveted grammar school place and help you maximise your child’s chances of success.

What's the process?

Your first point of contact will be our highly experienced office team who will ask you to complete a questionnaire. They will then match you with one of our specialised grammar school experts who will give you a detailed explanation of what is involved in the application process for academically selective or partially selective schools. From helping you find the best place to live to be near good grammar schools to advising on admissions policies and how to prepare for tests, our experts will make sure you have all the information you need in a written report to set your child up for grammar school success.

How long will it take?

Grammar school entrance exams usually take place a year before entry and some require applicants to have lived at their address for a fixed period before application, so we advise coming to us a minimum of 24 to 18 months prior to entry. Our report will be delivered within a few days to a few weeks after meeting you.

What will it cost?

The fee for the Grammar School Consultancy is £420 (including VAT). This includes all research prior to the virtual meeting, which can last up to 90 minutes. We can also offer an assessment service for a separate fee which would help determine whether your child is likely to be successful in grammar school entrance tests.

“Many thanks for your time with the consultation yesterday, we both found it very useful, and we feel better informed for the forthcoming challenge!”
