SEND Advice and Guidance Meeting

Four in 10 children will need special educational support at some point. Our experienced SEND team is on hand to get your child the help they need, whether that’s in mainstream or special education.

Is this meeting right for me?

SEND Advice and Guidance Meeting are an invaluable way of talking through an issue. For many families, they are the starting point for a bespoke schools search service.

What is the process?

Before the meeting, we ask for recent school and specialist reports and (if your child has one) their Education, Health and Care Plan. We use the meeting to hear from you about your child – their interests, strengths and challenges. We discuss your priorities and what a future school – or other educational options – might look like. We will also discuss how our bespoke schools search would work (though we don’t suggest schools at this point). We are realistic about what can be achieved and where compromise is needed but where there is a solution to be found, we will find it. After the meeting, we will send you a summary outlining the main point covered and suggesting next steps.

How long will it take?

Virtual SEND Advice and Guidance Meetings last up to 75 minutes.

What will it cost?

Virtual SEND Advice and Guidance Meetings cost £460 (including VAT) for up to 75 minutes online or by phone but we deduct this cost in full from the cost of bespoke schools research if you decide to go ahead with this within three months.

“Thank you for all your guidance and planning. We would have been utterly lost without you.”
